Red Above: In this mode the terrain that is above and near your GPS altitude is shown in 3 special colors:
• YELLOW - Terrain 1000 to 600 below the aircraft
• ORANGE - Terrain 600 to 300 below the aircraft
• RED - Terrain less than 300 below and all terrain above the aircraft
Terrain more than 1000 feet below the aircraft is rendered in normal colors.
