Instantly call up and view any of more than 12,000 charts from our server. Our server keeps all the plates up to date and ready for your instant retrieval. Every 28 days a new database is electronically published on our server, insuring that you always have access to the most current procedures. Each plate is date-stamped and you can always know with confidence the currency status of each plate. Simply enter an airport identifier, for example “KMKC” into the search window to see the airport diagram, approach procedures, arrivals, and departures listed on the screen. To view a particular procedure, simply select it from the list with a single tap. The plate will appear and can be intuitively panned and zoomed using standard gestures.
Works Online or Offline
The first time a chart is viewed, a copy is saved locally on the iPhone or iPad. In the future, the plate is viewable even when there is no internet access – the user does not need to do anything, the date-stamped, cached version is automatically used. The user will be notified when the chart expires, and the cached copy is easily updated when the device has access to the internet. Expired charts can always be viewed, but will be clearly marked as out of date.

Q: Does my current Pocket Plates Lifetime subscription cover Pocket Plates Lite for the iPhone?
A: No. Since this is a new platform which is run through Apple's store we are not able to offer Lifetime subscriptions for the iPhone App.
Q: How do I renew my subscription after 3 months?
A: Just return to the Apple store and buy another copy of Pocket Plates Lite for $9.95. That works out to about $3.32 a month.
