Anywhere Map Quadra
The base Quadra configuration includes an AC and Smart DC (12-24V auto-sensing) adapter, both a car mount AND yoke mount, 4 GB Data card, Quick Reference Card, plus a 12 month subscription to firmware and aviation database updates. This includes aviation charting data such as the 28 Day Aeronautical Database, which updates airports, airspace, airways, and frequencies PLUS new features and functionality as additional firmware updates which may be published periodically throughout the year.

Standard Features of the Anywhere Map Quadra
The Nearest Anything™ function shows you everything from nearby airports, Navaids, and Fixes to AWOS and Center Frequencies. The Anywhere Map Quadra takes full advantage of its ability to connect to a WiFi Hotspot and access the World Wide Web. Using this Internet connection we call Anywhere Link, every Quadra can download aviation weather data items such as Nexrad, METARs, and TAFs. In addition it can download Temporary Flight Restrictions (TFR’s), current 100LL and Jet-A fuel prices, and Airport Directory/FBO information. The Quadra can also use Anywhere Link to update it’s own aeronautical database, Approach Plates, Sectionals, Low Enroute IFR charts, and even file flight plans online!

The Quadra MAX system configuration adds digital Geo-Referenced sectional charts to a base Quadra setup. These scanned sectionals eliminate the hassle of fumbling, folding, and refolding paper charts in-flight. The sectionals appear like a ‘wallpaper’ or background for the moving map screen. Any additional items such as VORs, Airspace, Private Airports, Victor Airways, Red Above Terrain (TAWS), XM WX, etc may be displayed over the top of the sectional background for a highly customizable, versatile, and interactive moving map! The digital charts are seamlessly ‘stitched’ together to completely hide the traditional boundaries of the original Sectional charts, so the user never needs to know which map to unfold.

A simple, self contained online update function automatically keeps the charts current using any WiFi Internet connection available. Updates to the digital Sectionals are covered by the same Anywhere Map subscription, no additional subscriptions are required. All the same mounting and power equipment from the base configuration comes included in the Anywhere Map Quadra MAX system along with an 8 GB Data Card.

Anywhere Map Quadra EFB
The Quadra EFB configuration is the ultimate in portable GPS navigation. This premium configuration adds digital Low Enroute IFR and Sectional Charts as well as Pocket Plates® Geo-Referenced approach plates (TERPS) to a base Quadra setup. The entire 12,000+ page library of current NACO (FAA) approach procedures, along with all the Arrivals (STARs) and Departures (SIDs) Sectionals and Low Enroute IFR charts are preloaded onto a 16GB SD card putting every necessary bit of flight information at your fingertips.

Just like the Quadra MAX system, the Sectionals, or Low Enroute IFR Charts appear like a ‘wallpaper’ or background for the Anywhere Moving Map screen. XM Weather
Any Quadra, Quadra Max, or Quadra EFB system can be Weather Equipped by adding the optional XM WX receiver package. Your Quadra will now deliver up-to-the-minute XM weather and TFR warnings on the fly. Data is transmitted to the Quadra wirelessly using Bluetooth technology and even lets you listen to XM audio channels while you monitor the weather. (subscription required). This two piece system configuration allows a less bulky setup on the yoke and has a far better display than comparable portable weather systems.

XM WX Subscriptions
The XM WX Weather data is provided by Wx Worx, via XM WX Satellite Radio. In order to access the data, one must be a subscriber to the monthly XM WX aviation weather package, and pay a one-time registration fee to XM. These fees are as follows:

A: You can update without any PC if you have a WiFi connection.

Q: Does Pocket Plates work with the Quadra?

Q: Can I add XM weather to my Quadra?
A: Yes.

Q: I bought a Wx Worx receiver off of eBay, will it work with my Quadra?

A: No. In order to keep the system easy to operate there is no way to install other applications on the Quadra.

Q: Can I really just use this the Quadra right out of the box?
A: Yes. There is no software to install or configure. Turn it on and it's ready to go.

Q: When will my order be shipped?

Q: How are SFR/TRFs updated on the Quadra?
A: SFR/TFR updates will be handled just like all database updates, or as part of the XM WX broadcast if you have XM weather.

Q: Can I update my ATC with a Macintosh computer?
A: There is no updater aplication for the Macintosh, but you don't need a computer to update your Quadra. All you need is an active WiFi connection.

Q: Will the Quadra work at speeds over 250 MPH?
A: Yes, the Quadra has no speed limitations.

Q: Is the GPS WAAS enabled?
A: Yes the GPS used in the Quadra is WAAS enabled for greater accuracy.

Q: Can I use my XM receiver I already use with my current AWM software?
A: Yes, however it may need to be sent in for modification depending on the bluetooth module installed in your receiver.
