Everything You Need "Built-In"
The ATC’s 4.3" ultra high-definition 800 x 480 screen give the best view ever in a handheld device. It’s touch-screen operated, with big buttons; and unlike many such products, there is nothing to load, nothing to initialize, no “internal computer” to operate – just turn it on and fly! Based on the iPAQ Travel Companion, it retains all of the functionality of the original HP device and adds to this a special EMBEDDED EDITION of Anywhere Map®.
The ATC is convenient and capable, including among its talents the patented “cones of safety”, glide calculator, high resolution terrain, and obstacle and terrain warnings. Add the optional Pocket Plates® 3 featuring GPS enabled approaches for all of the features and safety margin available on modern panel-mounted units, and then some.
“By pilots, for pilots,” defines the eight years of intensive development that have resulted in the most intuitive navigation system that ever went into an airplane.
The ATC offers an advanced high-resolution terrain map, detailed aviation data including navaids, airspace, airways, SUAs and TFRs, with advanced flight tools like a VNnav HSI, flight planning, weight & balance, calculator, and an Airport Guide. Anywhere Map’s Personal Digital Co- Pilot® tracks your flight and issues Reminders like Switch Fuel Tanks and Begin Descent along with Obstacle and Terrain Warnings.
Cockpit convenience
Anywhere XM WX-Satellite Weather is a clean, simplified installation. One cigarette lighter plug-in powers both the PDA and the Wx Worx receiver. The satellite receiver can be placed anywhere in the cockpit, even under a seat. A compact antenna maintains contact with the XM WX satellites.
Customer Comment
...Got to SnF and the AWM booth. There was the ATC... Amazing when you see it in person. Bought it on the spot. Then flew to Winter Haven just to use it! All I can add to this thread is that this is the finest handheld GPS there is, period. Those big side buttons solve my only challenge with the 5915. The rotary zoom wheel is a GREAT addition, and renders the look-ahead issue for me moot. In flight, I can honestly report that the screen real estate gives the impression I bought the Q1 Ultra when compared to my 5915.
Huge thanks to the folks at AWM for not only sticking with us 'little system' guys, but practically putting a G1000 in the palm of my hand!

Anywhere Map integrates position, airspace, terrain, obstacles, and even weather information down into one easy to read display.
