Now Anywhere Map customers can access current weather for flight planning and use it to make better strategic decisions about their flight route, fuel, and options. Using our exclusive Anywhere Link mode, you can retrieve NEXRAD, METARs, TAFs, Satellite Imagery, and TFR/SFR over an Internet connection.
If your PDA or tablet has wireless Internet (wifi), then you can use it. Or, you can use the Internet connection that opens when your PDA is docked to your home PC. Either way you get nationwide NEXRAD less than 5 minutes on the same map you’ll use in flight. No other system offers this capability.
Anywhere Map also provides unique graphical displays of certain weather information such as METARs. While other systems require you to “dig” for basic METAR text information, Anywhere Map’s METARs are presented in graphic form right on the map. If the color-coding isn’t enough, then you simply tap the graphic once to see the decoded METAR text. No more hunting!
