Quadra MAX and Quadra EFB
The HD Display makes the Quadra the only handheld capable of offering the rich detail of sectional charts. Our MaxNAV™ technology completely hides the traditional boundaries of the original Sectional charts, the user never needs to know which map the background comes from. Individual chart tiles are each stamped with an expiration date, and a simple online process automatically keeps the map tiles current and up-to-date. MaxNAV Sectional charts are included in the Quadra MAX and EFB models.
Add an optional XM WX receiver and the Quadra gives you up-to-the-minute XM weather and Airspace warnings on the fly. Data is transmitted to the Quadra by Bluetooth and even lets you listen to XM audio channels while you monitor the weather. (subscriptions required). This two piece system is less bulky and has a far better display than comparable portable weather displays.
Once you reach your destination, you can take the compact, self-contained display unit with you and enjoy superb 3D street mapping in your car.
